Beautiful bride, beautiful dress, beautiful weather

This weekend I had the greatest of pleasures photographing the wedding of Sam & Marc in Lincolnshire. An otherwise different day for me because Marc is my nephew, so it was a special family day and lovely to have been asked to capture the day for them.

The day before had seen a months worth of rainfall in one day, so you can imagine how relieved everyone was to wake up to sunshine (especially me!). Sam is one of the most relaxed brides I have worked with and that shows in the photos, which express nothing but happiness for the day. I don't think Sam stopped smiling from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed, which apparently was very late after the dancing finally finished.

The wedding was in an old church which had a fab choir and then it was onto the Laceby Manor Resort for some lovely rolling fields of green and some beautifully kept gardens. The sun shone and provided some beautiful light for photos, which I hope shows in some of the imagery. Looking over the photos some are amongst my most favourites, especially of the dress flowing in the wind, just beautiful. This blog is just a preview of shots, more to come.
