Recently I had the honour of shooting the wedding of the very lovely Kate to her now-husband, Harry. 

It was my first wedding this year, due to many Covid cancellations, and my first Covid wedding, so I wasn't sure what to fully expect. I did all of the research required and talked over the situation with other wedding suppliers to prepare thoroughly. I also liaised with the venue and the couple prior to the wedding. On the day I donned the face mask (and gloves at times) and between us, we put in place everything we could to stay safe. 

The one thing we couldn't control was the weather and at times boy did it rain! During the morning the blue skies turned black and as luck would have it as the last leaf of confetti had landed the skies opened! The downpour, along with social distancing, meant having to adapt my style. As a rule, I try to get close to capture some of the moments but this proved tricky with the Covid rules. The only thing left to do was think on my feet and Kate and Harry were, of course, completely amazing and up for most things, so thank you! As a result, we had to push the limits a little to get some of the shots on the day. 

Thanks need to go out to Northbrook Park, who were fabulous before and during the wedding as well as all the other suppliers. The ceremony hall looked incredible and the day was truly beautiful, and a little emotional at times. 

A stunning location, a beautiful bride, lovely friends and family and some beautiful shots were captured.
