Clare and Stu are the most adorable couple, just lovely and nothing much phases them. Their wedding came as the country, and the world began to emerge from lockdown and open up a little bit. So it was a great day to shoot some natural, documentary wedding photography

Lots of covid rules were still in place, as you can see in some pictures, but the spring turned to summer and the day was a breath of fresh air from the previous months.
The day started at the brides home, which was previously her grandmothers house before the ceremony at their local church in Winlaton. It was the vicars first wedding at the church, despite being the vicar for a year she had not been allowed any weddings due to covid restrictions.

Despite a limited congregation, the bride shone and her father watched from his wheelchair as she was escorted up the aisle by her mother. Tears began to flow!

The ceremony was at Beamish Hall Hotel, an old country estate in County Durham but a beautiful location for photos, as you can see. It was my first wedding of 2021 but worth the wait, such a beautiful day for an amazing couple
